	Early in 2009, the Willow Glen Libertarian Alliance ended its existence as a formal California "Recipient Committee" (PAC), number 1288888, by ending its registration with the California Fair Political Practices Commission.  We are pretty well convinced that "Libertarian Party Politics" is an oxymoron.  The "Party" remains uncertain whether it is a cleanhanded source of "education" for the masses, or an aspirant like any other to the forced application of political power.  Consequuently, much of its energy goes into internal battles, with little remaining for effective political activity.  We have found, in short, that direct involvement with the "Party" amounts to a colossal time and energy sink.  We advise those interested in changing the political structure to do so on a local level, in the company of like-minded individuals, working on local issues.
	As of September 8, 2008, we have ended our relationship with Paypal, which we previously used to receive donations. After using them for more than a year, and then becoming more visible in local politics, we were suddenly asked by them to provide detailed verification of our financial arrangements, which had not been needed before.  We declined, and requested that our account with them be closed.
